As the first expo of its kind in the U.S., The Fertility Planit Show offers information, support and inspiration to people who are exploring all options for having children and creating a family.

Debuting for the first time in Los Angeles, California on January 12, 2013, The Fertility Planit Show kicks off two days of keynote presentations and panel discussions with some of the world’s leading fertility medicine experts, family building thought leaders and inspirational speakers. The event culminates at the end of the day, with a special celebrity guest.

The show will be held online via free live streaming and live web chat, and all programs will be available for download as pod-casts after the show.

Ticket holders get: access to the exhibit hall where sponsors, speakers and experts will offer more information, demos and consultations – plus two 60-minute programs of their choice, and a unique schwag bag with goodies and inserts from sponsors.

Attendance is limited to 1,500 ticket holders, 50 exhibitors, and 50 world class experts, thought leaders and inspirational speakers across fertility medicine, complementary treatments and mind-body-spirit therapies. With such high quality and in demand experts, early bird registration is a must. The organizers have received a great volume of interest and expect to sell out quickly. Announcements about celebrity speakers are coming soon.

Attendees will meet top fertility doctors while exploring legal, logistical and mind-body-spirit issues related with building a family. They will hear from yoga and wellness experts, as well as hear personal stories from fertility experts and new parents about their family building journey. Participants will also be able to join the Fertility Planit Show online community before, during and after the show for conversation and support.

We anticipate The Fertility Planit Show to be an eye-opening experience for many consumers, exhibitors and sponsors,” said Karin Thayer, Founder and CEO of Fertility Planit. “After many years of struggling to have a child, and being full of despair, I was finally able to become a mother. I now want to help make the path lighter for others and to bring the conversation into the public eye. We want to help people feel really good about themselves as they explore all of their options for building a family. People from all walks of life will be able to get useful information, and have hands-on experiences talking to thought leaders and other consumers about ways to overcome infertility. We want to support people in knowing that if they want to be parents and raise a child, they can.

By bringing together world class experts, well known thought leaders and inspirational speakers with consumers and patients, The Fertility Planit Show will provide information, support and inspiration to people who want to create a family. The Agenda of Topics includes something for everyone: A Beginner’s Guide to Infertility; Creating a LGBT family; Becoming and Being a Single Parent by Choice; Financial Planning for Family Building; IVF -- Factors for Success and Issues Related with Failure; Love, Sex and Infertility; and Adoption: What Are My Options?

Attendees will hear from leading experts such as: Dr. Mark Surrey, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., F.A.C.S., of the Southern California Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills; Dr. Richard Marrs of California Fertility Partners; Ken Cook, President of the Environmental Working Group; Ken Mosesian, Executive Director of the American Fertility Association; leading integrative medicine and hormone expert Dr. Prudence Hall, M.D. of the Hall Clinic Venice; Adam Pertman, Pulitzer-prize nominated journalist, author of Adoption Nation, and Director of the Evan B. About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
