Center offers a holistic approach to in-fertility
Couples struggling to start a family can take a holistic approach that can bring balance and hope to prospective parents.

“Many people suffer from in-fertility, but everyone’s case is not the same,” said Massage Therapist Zada McGuire. “Everyone is uniquely made and therefore your imbalances will differ from each other. So whether it starts with stress, pituitary problems, low sperm count, PCOS, blocked fallopian tubes, etc — there is hope.”

Natural Gifts Holistic Center is offering a new service to renew balance and increase fertility chances.

“Our in-fertility program is a full package that starts with bringing both bodies into balance,” MaGuire said. “We do this by detoxifying the body, providing information on the right foods and nutrition for your body type, and lowering your sugar intake. After the body has been detoxified, we work on specific problems and needs through a series of treatment sessions.”

Natural Gifts specializes in holistic services that relieve stress through massage therapy, aromatherapy, reflexology, health and wellness coaching, facials, cranio sacral therapy and energy work including Chakra Balancing, Reiki, and Matrix Energetics.

TODAY'S BOOK SUGGESTION:
Rewinding Your Biological Clock: Motherhood Late in Life, by Richard J. Paulson M.D., Judith Sachs. Publisher: iUniverse Publishing (July 13, 2011)Rewinding Your Biological Clock: Motherhood Late in Life
by Richard J. Paulson M.D., Judith Sachs

-- In 1996, Dr. Richard Paulson assisted a 63-year-old woman to conceive using in vitro fertilization with a donor egg, and she became the oldest woman in the world to give birth.

This incredible example of how assisted reproductive technologies, or ART, can change the course of nature, raises tough biological, emotional, and ethical issues.

Rewinding Your Biological Clock is a unique exploration of each of these issues, especially the "how-to" of peri- and post-menopausal pregnancy.

Written by a leading fertility specialist and a health educator, this original and daring book rethinks society's most fundamental beliefs about motherhood, aging and life itself.

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
