Reproductive Wellness Treatment Center Hosts Expo For Couples

Catherine McDiarmid-Watt | Tuesday, October 14, 2008 | 0 comments

Couples struggling to start a family will be able to seek some of the latest in high-tech fertility treatments at the third annual San Diego Fertility Expo on Oct 26. "San Diego has some of the most renowned fertility experts in the country, and yet so many couples who struggle with infertility have no idea where to turn when they face fertility issues," said reproductive wellness clinical director Marc Sklar. "This even is designed to help change that by giving individuals and couples the valuable information they need to help them take control of their fertility. "The Expo will include several booths offering information about acupuncture and the latest studies that show improved pregnancy rates with the treatment. Information about natural remedies like fertility yoga and Mayan massage will also be provided.

The event is free, but donations are welcome. The event takes place at the UCSD International House at the Great Hall. For more information visit San Diego Fertility Expo.com Source: http://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/17703163/detail.html

About Catherine: I am mom to three grown sons, two grandchildren and two rescue dogs. After years of raising my boys as a single mom, I remarried a wonderful man who had never had a child of his own. Unexpectedly, I found myself pregnant at 49!
Sadly we lost that precious baby at 8 weeks, and decided to try again. Five more losses, turned down for donor egg, foster care and adoption due to my age and losses - we have accepted that there will be no more babies in our house.
