Despite reassuring perinatal outcomes, concerns remain regarding the ability of older parents to meet the emotional and physical demands of parenting. We sought to explore these issues...
To our knowledge, this is the first study to evaluate parenting in women who conceive after age fifty. Our data do not support the hypothesis that mothers of advanced maternal age have reduced parenting capacity secondary to physical or mental ability or parenting stress.
